It is a sad, disappointing and to be honest, an embarrassing day for me. Youtube, for reasons I have no control over, have in the past 24 months reduced my compensation by nearly 60%. This began back in January of 2024 and and I have remained hopeful that things would improve but they have not, they have gotten worse. It has reached a point where just the basic monthly bills are not being met now.
This hole is getting deeper and deeper and I don't, well I can't continue this free fall into financial oblivion. I'm trying other avenues but it is a slow, uncertain process. I had a second, small stream of revenue but in December it was hacked and what little earnings I received there is now being diverted to a scammer in Syria, unreal. Still attempting to resolve that issue but haven't received anything from that source since December, and I'm not sure it will ever come back. That little supplemental income has allowed me to continue to do what I love, be your Earthwatchman. But now, that's gone which has put me in a very bad spot.
At this point, I have no choice left but to have a fundraiser to keep us from loosing our house, we're already giving up our car and I cannot loose everything, that's where I'm at. Why Youtube reduced my compensation is beyond me, but it has devastated the financial stability of my family.
